Gabrielle Union’s fashion statement at the recently held premiere of Straight Outta Compton drew attention and admiration from attendees of the premiere.

The actress showed up wearing a sexy black dress that looked like a tuxedo in the front. The sheer material used for the back and sleeves lent a very feminine touch to the tuxedo-like dress. The dress was also designed with thigh-high-slit, adding to its sex appeal. This unique Akris gown was picked from the Fall 2015 collection.

To complete the look, Union wore a pair of strappy high-heeled sandals with a minimalistic silver Y-necklace.

The 42-year-old star exuded an air of confidence and sexiness as she displayed her curves during the premiere. She arrived with her husband Dwyane Wade who appeared in a casual yet trendy grey shirt, jeans and black boots. Wade kept his style simple with a gold chain necklace and a black hat for his accessories.

The premiere of the biopic film, Straight Outta Compton was held at the Microsoft Theater in Lost Angeles on Monday. The event was full of big celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Tyrese Gibson of Furious 7, TV presenter Terrence J and cast and crew of the film.

Dr. Dre was also in attendance accompanied by wife, Nicole Young. He has released his newest album titled Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre. Kendrick Lamar was also seen at the premiere. Former One Direction member Zayn Malik was also reported to be present at the scene.

Straight Outta Compton tells how NWA became one of the best rap acts in the music history. It chronicles its humble beginning from the streets of Comptons and the controversies the group faced.

The biopic is coming in theaters on August 14 in the US and August 28 in the UK.
