Killer Instinct in particular might prove popular, as its free-to-play sales scheme will allow any Xbox One owner to jump in and play the game with one character, Jago. The rest of the characters (of which there will be six at launch) will have to be purchased individually.
Today Microsoft revealed its official launch trailer for Killer Instinct. The trailer features every character so far announced for the game, including Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Orchid, and Sadira. Spinal will also be coming to the game, though he won't be available until January.
In addition to the already-announced characters, the trailer also serves as the big reveal for another fighter to come: Fulgore. The cyborg proved popular in the original Killer Instinct games, and it comes as no surprise that he will be coming as the last of the "first season" of fighters Microsoft will be selling. According to the trailer, Fulgore will be available sometime in March. Fans of Cinder and Riptor will have to wait even longer to play those characters.
