  1. Finally! :)
It has been a long enough wait.

I’ll let my friends know about it!

  2. Ann

I am a social media marketer and I can’t imagine what level of hell this could be.

  3. I’ve been hoping this would come around one day. It allows us to check posts when we’ve been ill, out of town, etc. and not miss anything important. Of course, it does mean more work for those of us in marketing, but hey, I was on overload before this! :)

  4. Chris, you conclude that Facebook’s Timeline feature “could change the game for brands,” but I don’t see where you address WHY you believe that’s true. Are historical timelines of huge interest to customers? I rarely have a desire to research the history of brands I buy. To me, buying is about benefits, features, and sometimes image. Is “providing limitless information and knowledge about brands” that much of an addition?

Just trying to understand a changing landscape. Maybe a follow up article?

    • I was thinking the very same thing, there are no specifics regarding how this could change the digital branding on FB forever.

I’m still trying to figure out how Google+ will fit into my social media branding strategy. I’m not entirely sure a timeline will forever-change the branding game.

  5. Would be very interesting to see what kinds of ideas brands can come up with to utilize this. In and off itself, the timeline feature doesn’t seem to be so great unless a brand gets creative and does something great with it.
