  2. An interesting comparison. But google still beats facebook for traffic in most of my sites. May be I should explore FB some more.

    I realize this post is a little old but I had to add comment. Google and other search engines are still the traffic kings for any of the sites we have that get lots of traffic. I think one of the problems with Facebook is that users don’t leave, its become it’s own little bubble that people get caught up in. This is great for Facebook but not so hot for businesses trying to leverage it.

  4. Just to build on my original comment below. I do thing something like social media/facebook can be any interesting part of your overall traffic/marketing strategy – but it’s only a small part of an overall strategy in my opinion…

  5. yes I do agree not to under estimate Facebook traffic. At the same time it is equally important to have organic traffic. Because Facebook traffic may result in repeated visitors and organic traffic will bring new visitors.
