Facebook has introduced a new feature to its ads that makes them more interactive for Pages and Events.

Users can engage with ads in the same way they do with other content on Facebook without having to leave the page they are viewing.

Facebook offers more information. "Users can directly engage with your business by clicking on the ‘Become a Fan’ link or the ‘RSVP to this Event’ link in your ad. This action automatically creates a story on the user’s profile page and possibly even in their friends’ home page Highlights-generating free distribution for you."

Users can also click on the title, image, or body of an ad and go directly to the Page or Event to learn more about a business.

"In addition, Facebook Ads for Pages and for Events contain friend actions, which allow users to see which friends are a fan of your Page or are attending your Event directly in the ad. This increases the relevancy of your campaign," the company said.

The reaction to the new interactive ads on Facebook has been overwhelmingly positive.
