In early December, Facebook began letting a small percentage of people in the U.S. stream live video from their iPhones. Later that month, they expanded this to all verified pages. A couple weeks ago, Facebook announced that the feature was rolling out to all U.S. iPhone users.
Now, Facebook is reportedly opening up the functionality in its Pages Manager iPhone app with the latest update.
According to TheNextWeb's Ben Woods, "To use the feature in the Page Manager app, you just need to tap ‘Publish’, enter a description and press the live video icon."
I'll take his word for it. There's no mention of it on the app page in iTunes and I don't use an iPhone (he does include a screenshot).
When Facebook announced the expansion of the feature to all U.S. iPhone users last week, it said it plans to launch it to everyone else in the coming weeks. This would of course include Android.
Given that this was nearly two weeks ago, we can probably expect word of that expansion very soon.
