eWeek to Hold a Series of Technology Summits

Ziff Davis Media’s eWEEK magazine announced today it will hold a series of technology summits this fall.

The summits will focus on some of the most critical issues in enterprise technology: security, storage and business continuity. The events which are produced by Ziff Davis’ Custom/Conference Group extend the value and benefits of eWEEK to senior-level technology executives.

eWEEK, which has produced numerous technology summits focused on specific technology segments, will kick-off the first of its three fall branded technology events beginning with the Security Summit on September 29, 2004 at the Metropolitan Club in the Sears Tower in Chicago, IL. The eWEEK Storage Summit will be held October 6th at the Hilton Hotel & Towers in New York City, followed by the Business Continuity Summit on November 16th at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, D.C. Each event will feature a full-day of workshops, CIO roundtables and pre-arranged one-on-one meetings between key sponsors and vendors.

The eWEEK Security Summit, sponsored by Checkpoint, nCircle, Spirent and Symantec will kick-off with a keynote presentation by Richard Clarke, the former advisor on White House Advisor on Cybersecurity.

With enterprise-level organizations at increased risk due to viruses, hackers, spam and other intrusive methods, companies have to be more proactive then ever before. The eWEEK Security Summit brings together some of the industry’s leading security experts to educate IT decision-makers on the variety of threats impacting their organizations.
