Eva Mendes and everybody’s dream guy Ryan Gosling have been dating for three years. Recent reports say that Mendes, 40, is seven months pregnant with their first child – much to the dismay of Gosling’s hardcore fans.

The couple met on the set of the 2012 movie The Place Beyond The Pines wherein they played parents to a baby boy.

A source said that Mendes is ready for motherhood and “to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!”

It is impressive how Mendes was able to keep her life private, as she has not been photographed for a few months now. The last time she appeared in public was back in March, where she walked the streets of L.A. wearing a leopard-print coat, possibly hiding her baby bump. Back then, E! Online also caught up with the actress who gushed on what it’s like working with Gosling.

“He really created the most beautiful, collaborative, creative atmosphere on set. I know, I’m biased. He’s the best, he’s the best,” she said.

Another source said, “Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what. This is it for him.”

Despite their great relationship, reports say that wedding bells are not in the couple’s immediate future. Gosling thinks that they don’t have to get married just because they are having a baby. For Mendes, however, it is important for them to start their lives together as husband and wife.

Gosling’s fans took to Twitter to express their heartbreak over the news.
