Emilia Clarke is front and center in a new teaser trailer for the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones. In her role as Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia Clarke is seeking justice in this new season.

In the trailer, the character of the Three-Eyed Raven (played by Max von Sydow) is heard saying, "We watch, we listen and we remember. The past is already written. The ink is dry."

Lots of flashbacks, including the death of Snow, are featured, too.

Emilia Clarke is also prominently featured in a Tweet that teases the upcoming season.

It's been an exceptionally exciting year for Emilia Clarke. In addition to her huge fan base for her Game of Thrones role, she was named Esquire magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive in October. For her Esquire cover shot, the Mother of Dragons posed topless in bed. Inside its pages, she posed for several sexy lingerie photos.

In addition to the sixth season of Game of Thrones, what else do you suppose 2016 might have in store for Emilia Clarke?

Will she be hard-pressed to surpass this very exciting year?
