Ellen DeGeneres recently unveiled a prototype for her and wife Portia de Rossi’s Christmas card this holiday season. "This is the time of year where you have to order your holiday cards," DeGeneres revealed on Monday’s episode of her talk show. "As you know, Portia and I started working on our holiday cards… and here's the second one we came up with." The front reads “Happy Holidays” while the photo inside shows Ellen and Portia’s heads photoshopped on Kim Kardashian’s controversial Paper magazine cover with the caption “And a Shiny New Year”.

The card elicited laughter from Ellen’s audience. Last week, Ellen revealed the other card that they were thinking of using. The card had another simple cover that says “Silent Night” while inside there’s a photo of Ellen and Portia sipping wine with the phrase “because we don’t have any kids” written above the photo. Based on the crowd’s reaction, there’s no doubt that the Kim Kardashian-inspired photo will be the one Ellen and Portia will be going for this year.

Last year, Kim also served as the couple’s inspiration for their Christmas card. The card read “Bound for Christmas” and poked fun at Kanye West’s “Bound 2” music video which starred Kanye and Kim. The card shows the scene with a naked Kim Kardashian sitting in front of Kanye as they ride a motorcycle… only this time Ellen and Portia’s heads were photoshopped on the couple’s bodies.

Kim recently expressed her dismay after several photoshopped images of her Paper photoshoot leaked online. “Kim is furious over the fake photoshopped pics of her butt that’s going around,” said a source from Hollywood Life. “She oversees everything and would never allow pics of herself to be manipulated drastically.”

Hopefully, Kim won’t have any problem with Ellen and Portia’s Christmas cards considering that they’re pretty funny and were done in good fun.
