The Days of Our Lives 50th anniversary is in full swing, with several characters returning to Salem for a few weeks in celebration of the soap opera's celebration. The biggest story line--aside from the necktie strangler--thus far is the return of Bo Brady to Salem.

On Friday, Days of Our Lives fans watched Aidan try to kill Hope, just hours after their wedding. Bo, who has been held captive for years, rode back into town--well, almost--on his motorcycle to save the day. His bike actually broke down, and he stumbled the rest of the way into Salem, arriving at Hope's house at just the right time.

This week on Days of Our Lives, fans will learn Hope's feelings about her attempted murder at the hands of her new husband, and the return of the husband she assumed had abandoned her a few years ago.

In the past 50 years, Days of Our Lives has won 43 Daytime Emmys, including Outstanding Daytime Drama in 2015. 12,700 episodes of Days of Our Lives have aired.

Even those who have sworn off watching soap operas have tuned it for the excitement of the Days of Our Lives 50th anniversary.

Are you among them?

How do you think the scenario with Bo and Hope will evolve? Will one of Days of Our Lives' most romantic couples ever find their way back together again?
