Who knew Dakota Johnson had comedic chops?
In a new How to Be Single trailer released Wednesday, Dakota Johnson, 26, portrays a young, 20-something gal trying to navigate the single life after a breakup with the 35-year-old Australian star's help.
Along for the ride are Mad Men actress Alison Brie and Funny People star Leslie Mann, who co-star as Johnson and Wilson's friends.

As Dakota's character begins dating, which include Anders Holm (The Mindy Project), Damon Wayans, Jr. (New Girl) and Jake Lacy (The Office) as potential suitors, she finds that it's not as fun as she might have thought.
Also starring in the film are Nicholas Braun (Sky High), Jason Mantzoukas (The League) and Nick Bateman (The Originals).
Christian Ditter (Love, Rosie) directed the romp and actress Drew Barrymore served as producer. Based on the Liz Tuccillo book of the same name, the movie was adapted by He's Just Not That Into You writers Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn.

This is quite a departure for Johnson, who is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson and is best known for playing Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Dakota Johnson's is next slated for A Bigger Splash with Ralph Fiennes. Rebel Wilson, best known as Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect films, will next star in The Brothers Grimsby with Sacha Baron Cohen.
