  • Are you familiar with “The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”? If so, then you probably know “Mr. Peabody & Sherman”, they were an interlude cartoon during the misadventures of “Moose and Squirrel”, as Natasha would say. Soon the famed time traveling duo will make their way to the big screen in a new film from Dreamworks.

The film will center around Mr. Peabody (voiced by Modern Family’s Ty Burell) and his adopted orphan companion Sherman (voiced by Max Charles, The Amazing Spiderman). Utilizing the WABAC machine the duo time travels to experience various events in history, and if need be, correct said events.

You can read the films official synopsis below:

“Mr. Peabody (voiced by Ty Burrell) is a business titan, inventor, scientist, Nobel Laureate, gourmand, two-time Olympic medalist, and genius… who also happens to be a dog. Using his most ingenious invention, the WABAC machine, Mr. Peabody and his adopted boy Sherman (Max Charles) hurtle back in time to experience world-changing events first-hand and interact with some of the greatest characters of all time. But when Sherman breaks the rules of time travel, our two heroes find themselves in a race to repair history and save the future, while Mr. Peabody may face his biggest challenge yet – being a parent.”

“Mr. Peabody & Sherman” was directed by Rob Minkoff (Sturart Little, Lion King) and also features the voice talent of Ariel Winter, Stephen Colbert, Leslie Mann, Patrick Warburton, Stanley Tucci, Allison Janney, Mel Brooks, Lake Bell, Zach Callison, Dennis Haysbert.

The film will hit theaters on March 7, 2014.
