Everybody’s a reporter these days and Creative Weblogging is making it easier by launching its Creative Reporter Network, a new citizen journalist system that pays (handsomely) for great news content, tips, podcasts, and video clips.

Boasting 900,000 unique visitors per month and over 2.5 million page impressions, Paolo Alto, Calif.-based Creative Weblogging will pay $10 for every 1000 page views of original articles submitted and chosen for online publication. Published submissions are fully trackable by participants.

With over 40 topics covered in the networks, the subject matter available to cover is somewhat diverse, ranging from business to consumer electronics to health. Stories are to be limited to between 250-500 words and are reviewed by Creative Weblogging’s team of editors.

Robin Good has a nice interview with CEO Torsten Jacobi at his weblog, and interested citizen journalists can sign up here.
