It's been a bit less than two months since the last Saints Row IV DLC (Enter the Dominiatrix) brought fans of the series all the gimps and low-brow sex jokes they had missed out on when the expansion was cancelled for Saints Row the Third. During those few weeks, however, much has happened in the gaming industry and the Saints Row franchise is now competing against dozens of new game releases, some of which are for consoles that hadn't been released back in October.
In order to compete with the flood of holiday games, developer Volition is getting into the holiday spirit. The latest DLC for Saints Row IV was released today, complete with a holiday story and theme. How the Saints Save Christmas is now out for consoles and PC for $7.
The DLC puts players into a Saints story where Santa Claus has been trapped inside the Saints Row IV virtual world. With the help of Christmas-themed weapons and vehicles the Saints will be saving the holiday in what appears to be some of the silliest Saints Row content yet.
