Christina Aguilera became engaged on Valentine's Day to long-term boyfriend Matthew Rutler, which she announced via her official Twitter page.
The Voice judge has been dating Rutler since the two met on the set of Burlesque in 2010 where Rutler was a film assistant.
Aguilera purchased a $10 million Mulholland Estates home for the two last year, and share the mansion with her 6-year-old son, Max; the "Genie in a Bottle" singer gave birth to Max during her first marriage to Jordan Bratman.
According to E! Online, Aguilera and Bratman's nearly 5-year marriage officially ended in April 2011 when their divorce was finalized. The "Beautiful" singer filed for dissolution of marriage in October 2010 after having been separated from her music executive hubby since early September. The two agreed to share legal and physical custody of Max.
The 33-year-old star posted a picture on Twitter of her new - and sizable - rock, holding hands with Rutler in what appears to be a tropical setting with a beach in the background.
