  • Chrissy Teigen and John Legend may end up getting their own sitcom. The celebrity pair have turned heads again and again as their romance and blissful life together plays out in social media and on television. Now some television execs think Teigen and Legend are just the right stuff to put into a TV show.

Chrisyy Teigen and Johhn Legend will not be in the show itself, but their story will serve as inspiration for the material, and they will be on board as executive producers. The show will be centered on an interracial couple similar to the racial makeup of Chrissy Teigen, who comes from Norwegian and Thai stock, and John Legend, who is black.

The show about Teigen and Legend is possibly going to be titled “Ordinary People,” after John Legend’s song of the same name. It is the brainchild of “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris.

Barris said of Teigen and Legend, “They’re both super creative and super effusive and I’m just fans of them and everything they stand for.”

Meanwhile, Teigen is reaching beyond her modeling and television show hosting career into the world of publishing. Her planned cookbook, called “Cravings” is already causing a stir.

“I really feel like this should have been my first calling,” Teigen recently told Modern Luxury. “I love when people send me photos of the recipes that they’ve made—that makes me very emotional.”

About her book and love for cooking, Chrissy Teigen says, “This isn’t your typical celebrity cookbook. I really hate when you can tell somebody who doesn’t have a passion for it is pumping out a book.”

“I don’t think I would work at all without people that love it,” she says. “The people that you inspire to cook, who have never cooked a day in their lives and are finally cooking their first meal. Or people that feel like they’re comfortable showing their stretch marks because I shared mine. That to me is fantastic. That’s such a good feeling.”
