  • Cher has had to postpone several of her tour stops after doctors diagnosed her with an acute viral infection.

According to The Wrap, doctors diagnosed Cher with the acute infection in Los Angeles over the weekend, and have ordered her to stay on bed rest for several days. No further information regarding Cher’s illness has been revealed.

While the Believe singer is resting and getting better, she was still forced to cancel two of her stops on the second leg of her Dressed to Kill tour – Albany, New York., and Manchester, New Hampshire.

Both shows were pushed to early October; Albany on October 6 and Manchester on October 7.

The Dressed to Kill tour marks Cher’s eighth solo tour, with Pat Benatar and Cyndi Lauper serving as her opening acts.

The tour, which followed her 2013 album Closer to the Truth, kicked off on March 22 in Phoenix, and has already grossed over $55 million.

The remainder of the tour is expected to stay the same, with the next show scheduled for September 15 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
