Chad Kroeger, member of the band Nickelback and husband to Canadian singer Avril Lavigne, recently announced they are ready to settle down and have children of their own, as soon as they can find time.
When the two are apart, they steer away from alcohol as well as nightclubs. They like to avoid temptation at all costs. That is, when they are apart. They do not like to be away from each other for more than two weeks at a time. Ground rules such as these are one of the main reasons why their major is so strong.
They love to make time for each other and put a large effort into doing so and try enjoy the small things in life. "I crave the time I can snuggle up with her and watch a movie.", Kroeger told People.
The couple got married on the French Riveria this past July after seeing each other for just a little over one month. They have been happy ever since and even wrote multiple songs together for Lavigne’s new album.
"We bonded like crazy. It was like we'd known each other forever. It's a very intimate process, and you have to really open up when you're songwriting. When it was over and I had to go work with other people, it sucked. So I called him and asked him to come back to L.A. to do some more writing with me, and he was like, 'Hell yeah!' ” she told People Magazine, about working with her husband, Kroeger.
One of the first times the pair performed together was at the wedding. They surprised the audience by singing a song they wrote, “If I Said I Love You” while dancing to it.
