Rap icon, 50 Cent, and his group G-Unit, overwhelmingly popular in hip-hop circles, have made an agreement with mobile media company, Zingy, to create a series of mobile phone games based on the group members.

One game, called “G-Unit: Free Yayo,” allows players to be 50 Cent, or group members Lloyd Banks or Young Buck in attempting to rescue fourth member Tony Yayo from the grips of an evil record company.

Available this summer, Zingy will partner with Upstart Games to produce and distribute the games

For busting a cap in a virtural record executive, players can win G-Unit ringtones and wallpaper as prizes, adding an unusually tangeable experience.

“G-Unit is without a doubt one of the biggest brands, and 50 Cent is one of the most exciting artists there is in the Urban Space,” said Zingy president Andy Volanakis.
