Carrie Underwood seems like a lady who has it all together, but even the most with-it person can sometimes be foiled by overzealous pets.
Underwood sat down with Jimmy Fallon recently and talked about how she records the NFL theme song (in pieces) and revealed that her dogs got a little hyped during a trip to the airport and locked her baby in the car.
"We were at the airport, and like you do, you gotta get your luggage, so we got out of the car, shut the door, the power's running, the radio was on, air conditioning is going, we were just gonna get our luggage out of the back. And the second we shut the doors, the dog jumped up on...the little control panel thing and the doors locked," Carrie said.
Underwood said her brother-in-law came to the rescue with tools to break the window, but unfortunately the car belonged to her husband's parents. Ouch.
Carrie Underwood will be taking on the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in 2016 along with Luke Bryan and Eric Church. The 3-day event will feature a ton of popular country musicians as well as some with past country ties, such as John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival. A 3-day pass will set you back about $300.
Carrie Underwood has a new album coming out on the 23rd and will be promoting that with a mini concert on the Today show the same day. The busy musician was also on hand recently to help celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry, where several country artists played various shows in honor of the iconic Nashville landmark.
“For 90 years, Opry members have been the heart and soul of the show that made country music famous. Moments like these connecting generations of great country artists are what the Grand Ole Opry is all about," said Opry Vice President Pete Fisher.
