Capcom announced today its new Capcom Essentials collection that packages together five games for $60. The games included in the set are Resident Evil 6, Dead Rising 2, Super Street Fighter IV, Devil May Cry 4 and Mega Man 10. To sweeten the deal, they’re also throwing in a Capcom travel bag.

Now, this isn’t a bad deal, but some of the games choices are baffling. Why Super Street Fighter IV when they could have included Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition? To upgrade to the latest version of Street Fighter IV, players will have to pay an extra $15.

Obviously, the odd one out is Resident Evil 6. It’s a relatively new game that could still be sold for $60. Of course, nobody would buy it for that price after it received heavy criticism last year from critics and gamers alike.

That being said, you’re still getting five games for the price of one brand new title. I would argue that Mega Man 10 makes the whole thing worth it, but you can just buy that on the PSN/XBLA for $10. If you haven’t played any of these games, however, this is a good chance to catch up on some of Capcom’s best and worst games of the last generation.

The Capcom Essentials collection will be available at retailers starting October 8.
