While "Desperate Housewives" wasn't so much "cancelled" as it was just done with the story, a lot of fans are still sad to see it go. With yesterday's news of the latest shows to leave for the season came a lot of heartbreak as favorite characters were done away with in the blink of an eye, such as "House M.D."

"Desperate Housewives" became a huge hit after its introduction to the world in 2004, relying on viewers to become emotionally vested in the characters--much like with a soap opera--so they would tune in the following week to see what became of them. In an interesting move, one of the show's narrators was a character who was dead before we even really knew who she was, adding suspense and boosting the viewer's curiosity from the get-go.

Every week, fans have been tuning in to see what would become of their favorite housewife, and now that the show is gone there will be a huge void on Sunday nights. But have no fear, because I've assembled some of the best clips from the show for your viewing enjoyment.
