  • It has finally been confirmed. Bruce Jenner will be talking to Diane Sawyer about his decision to transition to a woman.

ABC confirmed that the 2-hour Bruce Jenner: The Interview will be aired on April 24 and will discuss some “far-ranging” topics.

Reports say that the highly-anticipated interview will act as the Olympian’s public “farewell to Bruce” as he embraces a new stage in his life.

And to those who are wondering – no, the 65-year-old Jenner will not be dressing as a woman during the Sawyer sit down. But it will focus on “his mindset and journey to the present” and will give him a chance to explain how and why he has identified as female since the age of 5.

Sources say that Jenner also hopes that by talking about his experience, he will help others avoid the difficulties he has dealt with.

The interviews were conducted over a period of time and will also touch on the gold-medalist’s inner struggle and how his transition is affecting his family.

There have been various reports stating that his ex-wife Kris Jenner is taking the transition badly, with sources stating that it’s “humiliating for her.”

But in a surprise move, Kris and daughter Kourtney Kardashian were seen visiting Jenner at his new Malibu home on Wednesday.

Kris looked grim in an all-black outfit while daughter Kourtney’s large shades reflected the same dark mood.

The couple’s divorce, which has gotten a lot of print and air time, was finalized last December and both have reiterated their decision to stay supportive and committed to their family.

“Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority,” the two said in a statement.

And who knows, maybe Kris’ visit is a sign of that commitment.
