  • Bruce and Kris Jenner have been separated for several months, but Kris has finally filed for divorce. She filed the paperwork with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.

Bruce and Kris shared 22 years together and have a large family. They each have several children from previous relationships and two daughters together.

Kris and Bruce split last October and they began living separately.

“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars told E! News in a statement last October. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

According to TMZ, Kris wants to share legal and physical custody of their two daughters and also wants to keep any assets she obtained after their separation. She is willing to divide any assets they purchased or were given as a couple. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement.

The divorce will likely go smoothly, since Kris and Bruce still get along pretty well and are not making unreasonable demands. Bruce is expected to file his response sometime this week.

Both Kris and Bruce have been working closely with their attorneys over the last few months to figure out the details of the divorce.

Although the family is sad about the divorce, they knew it was coming and say that they will still be a family no matter what and will always be there for one another.

Hopefully Kris and Bruce will be able to make it through the entire divorce process on good terms and stay friends in the end.
