Britney Spears has taken on a big job for the holidays while she’s in Vegas for her residency…and no, it’s not dressing up as Santa.

The pop star will be lighting the 30-foot Christmas tree at The Linq, a mall close to Caesars Palace which will feature all sorts of holiday fun in the weeks leading up to the big day. According to the L.A. Times, there will be carolers and all sorts of entertainers in the area in the coming weeks, and even a BMX show. To top it all off, there will be snow falling…in Las Vegas.

Britney has had a hugely successful run with her Vegas residency and has even added more dates, extending the shows by two years.

“I’m not ready to leave Vegas yet! And I just really, really love this show and this city. I’m so proud of the show, and my band, my dancers and my crew have all become such a family to me. When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn’t imagine ending my residency at the end of this year,” Britney Spears said.

Spears is also a proud mom and often posts on social media about her boys, Sean and Jayden. Recently, she shared a photo of Sean at school, where he’d won an award for encouraging his peers.
