Books That Can Help You Blog

    December 13, 2004

You may have heard a thing or two about some upcoming books on blogging … but are there other books you need to read as well.

Rex Hammock has a better idea. He has put together a list of books that help you blog, but have nothing to do with blogging! The books cover how to write, how to understand conversational media, biographies of “pre-bloghistoric” bloggers like Ben Franklin and even novels! Rex writes…

“I decided to suggest a library for bloggers and would-be bloggers of books that are about blogging, yet don’t mention the terms “blog” or “weblog.” (By the way, that was a decision that led to the longest time — by hours — spent working on one post.) Most of these books were written before blogs existed.”

I already have a handful of these loaded up on my iPod from Audible for my honeymoon, but I think I need to go add some more since Uncle Rex says so!
