Bobby Brown has many relatives surrounding him for moral support as his only child fights for her life in an Atlanta hospital.

But, some of those relatives might be adding strain to Bobby Brown‘s already frazzled nerves.

Bobby Brown turned 46 on Thursday and relatives gathered for a small, quiet celebration at the W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta on Friday.

But some of Bobby Brown’s relatives couldn’t keep it together.

Officers responded to a domestic violence call at the hotel just after midnight on Friday after the birthday party.

Apparently, Tina Brown, who also goes by Anita, fought with her son over a parking ticket. When things went south, she spit in his face, then broke a bottle over his head, which resulted in a nasty cut.

There were several witnesses to the show put on by Bobby Brown’s relatives.

One witness said the son, Shayne Brown, was “swinging on” his mother. Another said she saw his mother spit in his face and heard glass break, but didn’t actually see his mom break the bottle over his head.

Police say that Shayne Brown declined to press charges against his mother and then drove himself to the hospital to seek treatment for the gash in his head.

Bobby Brown, meanwhile, is holding vigil by his daughter’s bedside as she continues to fight for her life. She was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub last Saturday in an scene eerily similar to her mother’s death almost three years ago to the day.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is still in a medically induced coma as her family waits for a sign that she will pull through.

However, doctors told the family that there’s nothing else they can do and suggested that they prepare for the worst.
