Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub inside her Roswell, Georgia home back on January 31st. She had never regained consciousness when she passed away on July 26th.

Shortly before she died, a conservator for Bobbi Kristina Brown filed a civil lawsuit against Nick Gordon, her boyfriend, alleging he physically abused her in the days before she was discovered in that bathtub, and that he stole money from her bank account. After Bobbi Kristina Brown died, the lawsuit was amended to a wrongful death lawsuit.

It was announced late this past week that the medical examiner who conducted the autopsy on Bobbi Kristina Brown knows her cause of death. The results haven’t been released, however, because of the ongoing investigation into her death.

“The Fulton County Medical Examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death,” the office said in a September 25 press release. “However, a Fulton County Superior Court Order dated September 25, 2015 has been received Sealing the Autopsy Report and ordering the Medical Examiner to not release any further information to the public.”

Nick Gordon hasn’t been charged in the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, but relatives maintain he is at least partly responsible for the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown losing her life at just 22 years of age.

It must be incredibly difficult for those family members to know that the results of Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy are sealed. They will no doubt remain that way, however, until the investigation results in Nick Gordon’s arrest or comes to a close.
