Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in the hospital for four months after being found unresponsive in her bathtub, and while many rumors have made their way around the web in regards to her condition, only her family knows for sure whether she will recover. Now, her father--R&B star Bobby Brown--says that not only is the family focused on Bobbi's condition, they are also ready to figure out exactly what happened the day she was discovered.

Bobbi Kristina was reportedly found by a friend and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, the day after the couple had an argument. Gordon and his mother sat down for an interview with Dr. Phil earlier this year and gave details about that day, saying he gave CPR to Bobbi before the paramedics arrived. Bobbi Kristina--who had allegedly battled drug abuse in the past--reportedly had drugs in her system when she was found, making her situation eerily similar to the one her mother, pop star Whitney Houston, was found in. Houston died in 2012, and those close to Bobbi Kristina say she's been struggling with the loss ever since.

"How thin she had gotten is an indicator. This girl was trying hard, but she didn't have any support system. She was still dealing with a lot of grief over her mother," a source told CBS News.

Bobby Brown says that a criminal investigation is underway and that the family is doing everything they can to help Bobbi Kristina, including sitting with her and reading passages from the Bible. In April, she was moved from ICU and opened her eyes, but sources say she is unable to communicate. She is reportedly on a long road to recovery with rehabilitation.

"I am making decisions with Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter. Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina’s medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter’s injuries needs to be brought to justice," Bobby Brown said.
