Picasa to Feature Facial Recognition Software?

Picasa Gets Smart With Facial Recognition The Inquisitr has a post out saying that at noon today Google's Picasa is going to introduce facial recognition technology and a new downloadable Picasa photo editing program beta.

It will be interesting to see how accurate the facial recognition software Google is introducing works. I tried Riya's a few years back and it was awful. It simply could not do what it professed to do. I'd be very surprised if Google's technology is much better. I still think we are a long way off from accurate facial recognition software.
