How Badly Do You Want to Work at Google?

Jeff Barr recalls the interview process he went through with Google - he didn’t join - and shares an email from a Google recruiter, outlining the laundry list of steps you need to do, just for the phone interview!

In preparation for your phone interview:

  • Familiarize yourself with the job description under Product Development. http://www.google.com/jobs/index.html

  • Familiarize yourself with all of Google’s products (you will be asked both technical & business related questions)

  • Be prepared to answer Product Design / Analytical questions (be sure to think of the user when answering this question)

  • Conduct some searches (Google product manager)

  • Research our competitors
