Interview with Brett Crosby, Founder of Urchin

We recently had the opportunity to talk analytics with Google's Brett Crosby.

Brett was one of the founders or Urchin, the company Google acquired, and whose software they rebranded as Google Analytics.

Brett emphasized that Google's approach to analytics is to focus on easy deployment and ease of use, with an analytics package that meets the needs of many webmasters. In addition, being part of Google provides Google Analytics with a high level of scalability.

This is the first of a series of interviews with major players in the analytics industry. Watch for more in the weeks to come.
