E! Searches for Shooting Stars on YouTube

Last week we talked about media and marketers partnering with YouTube, rather than fighting it. E! Entertainment Television understands this and they are putting their money where their mouth is.

The E! Cybersmack contest on YouTube is looking for the best short films and viral videos. The winner gets $25,000 and featured placement on TV. If you look at the chart below you will note that YouTube surpassed E!'s web site late last year in traffic. That's why this is a smart idea.
