Microsoft To License Windows Source Code

In order to comply with a European antitrust ruling, Microsoft has agreed to license out its Windows source code.

It won't be free; those who pay for it will get 12,000 pages of documentation and 500 hours of free technical support. License holders will not be able to publish the code or use it in their products, but I can imagine some people out there would love to take a peek.
