Gmail Adds Auto Vacation Responses

Gmail has been adding features like crazy lately, and this one should come in handy for the holidays: autoresponders for when you are on vacation.

In your Gmail settings on the General tab, you can now turn on a personal autoresponder (type whatever the hell you want) and you can even have it only autorespond to people in your address book. The FAQ explains it won't autorespond to messages classified as spam or those from a mailing list.

UPDATE: Philipp notes that Google also added "Contact Group", a.k.a. mailing lists.
