  • The Country Music Association Awards (CMAs) announced the nominations on Tuesday for the 12 categories including, Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, and Single of the Year. Some regular names are appearing on the list again this year.

    Blake Shelton will be battling it out with Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, George Strait, and Luke Bryan for the award of Entertainer of the Year. Shelton has also been nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, Album of the year, and Music Video of the Year. His wife, country music singer, Miranda Lambert, is also up for several awards this year including: Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Song of the Year. She will also be going against her husband for Music Video of the Year.
