Google has a site where you can find your local voting information through Google Maps by searching for your home address. In an effort to get as many people to take advantage of this as possible (and ultimately vote), a lot of  big stars have come together in a public service announcement video to encourage viewers to do so.

The cast includes: Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Snoop Dogg, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Ben Stiller, Will Smith, Steven Spielberg, Justin Timberlake, “Borat”, Zach Braff, Colin Farrell, Neil Patrick Harris, Scarlett Johansson, Shia LeBeouf, Tobey Maguire, Ryan Reynolds, and Jason Segal.

This is actually the second star-packed video (here’s the first)  to advertise the Google site, and YouTube is also running ads for the site at the bottom of videos while they play:

Google’s tool could really play a big part in getting people to vote, because year after year, many people just simply have not known where to go, and have probably been too lazy to find out, and instead of trying, just didn’t vote. It’s not hard to imagine many of these people sitting around watching YouTube videos, so it seems like a pretty good place for the PSA and ads. Even Halloween Google Doodle designer Wes Craven has a YouTube video telling people to vote.

By the way, Google has also released a mobile tool for volunteers to show people where to vote.
