Are you generating enough links back to your web site through a reciprocal link system?
I just read something about how the next big web thing doesn't live up to it's expectations. This next big web thing turns out to be contextual ads. After reading about this, it got me to think... What would I do?? If I was looking for a particular rock for my rock collection, what would I do? How would I go about searching for such an item? And with in my search, would I ever click on a link from a contextual ad? I thought these questions and finding the answer to them would help me make a clearer decision as to "the next big web thing" and if it really is a flop.
Do you have a web site or store front that remains stagnant? No matter what you do, it just doesn't matter, you just can't seem to build traffic, increase or generate sales. You've created new graphics changed your text to be more appealing to readers and still no one is signing up and your click through rate remains stagnant. You own a small shoe store and regardless of your efforts, sales just remain the same. Well my friend, if the above real life scenarios pertain to you, then it is time to do a little bit or maybe a lot of research. You could have the greatest product, a product that could be very useful to consumers and your product ships with an affordable price tag. You could have the next break through idea but if you are not marketing your product or idea properly, there will not be one red cent earned for your efforts.
It is said that search engines like to see a certain amount of words in the body of your html page. That is true, if you don't have a certain amount of words in the body, then that page will not be considered a viable page.
Lets face it. It's all about the hits. The more quality hits you get to your site, the more chances you will have to promote your product and make a sale.
That is a good question. How do you build a website? Where does one start that has no clue about web page design? First we assume that you have access to a computer and to the internet. Once that goal is accomplished. You have open reign. There are literally thousands of ways to create a website.
You need more hits, more traffic? Well don't we all :). If this is one of your first stops on your quest to find help to generate more traffic to your site then you are in luck. That means you have not spent a ton of hours trying out stupid scams, or paying someone too much money to attempt to generate traffic to your site.
