When you decide to start an online business, the most important decision to make is what to sell. There are three types of products you can sell on your web site:
There are two kinds of people: those who talk, and those who act after they talk.
Everyone knows this: the longer your visitors stay on your web site, the more likely they are to buy something. The longer they stay, the more trust they develop in your business, the more comfortable they will become ordering from you.
Last night I have conducted a little seminar on the topic of using the Internet. While no age restriction was placed in the ad, every participant was at least 55 years old. Some were clearly of a retired age.
Please, forgive me, but today I am going to sound harsh. Just got a note from one of the customers in my town. John owns a landscaping business and 3 months ago decided to take his company cyber. When I started my online business a year ago, I was absolutely overwhelmed by the number of web sites that offer advice. Everyone seemed to know how to make money on the Internet, which made it even harder to believe.
You have seen these ads over and over again:
"Make Money Starting With Absolutely Nothing!"
Last November, I was jumping up and down absolutely excited about my new idea. I was going to create a web site filled with articles, links and resources on just about any topic you could imagine. This way no matter who finds my site and for whatever reason they click on it, I will always make money, right?
So you have written an e-book. The hardest part is over.
Now it's time to start making money with it. How do you do it?
While online business start up costs are nothing compared to the brick-and-mortar businesses, you still need to make some minimum investment to launch a web business.
