Ashley Tisdale is married!
The 29-year-old High School Musical alum married rocker Christopher French in a top secret wedding on Monday. She revealed the news on Instagram, posting a beautiful photo of herself on the arm of her new husband and writing: "Best day of my life! According to RadarOnline, the nuptials took place at a private estate in Santa Barbara, Califfornia.
“It was all very top secret. Ashley has been hyper-focused on keeping it a secret. She wanted it to be her day and didn’t want it to be a circus,” a source revealed to Radar.
“All the guests went to a secret location and shuttled to the estate,” the source said. “Security was very tight. They took everyone’s cell phones and electronics."
The source said the ceremony was "sweet and intimate" and the guests "threw white rose petals at the happy couple after they said ‘I do.’”
According to Radar, most of the High School Musical cast was in attendance, except for Zac Efron, who reportedly couldn't attend the ceremony because of filming obligations.
The couple went public with their relationship in 2012 and French proposed in August 2013 on the 103rd floor of New York's Empire State Building. At the time Tisdale called it "the best night of my life."
Tisdale, who is best known for her role as "Sharpay" in the High School Musical series of films, will star in the upcoming movie A Many Splintered Thing with Chris Evans, Michelle Monaghan, Aubrey Plaza, and Topher Grace.
She will also star in Buzzy's, which will premiere on TBS next year.
