Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross are expecting a girl, she revealed recently.

“We’re having a girl!” Ashlee Simpson exclaimed.

The singer/actress said they found out that she was pregnant on Thanksgiving Day, and it was confirmed in the media back in December.

Ashlee Simpson is already a mother to her five-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli, six, with ex-husband Pete Wentz.

Ashlee Simpson said Bronx is really excited.

“I told him pretty early on,” Ashlee Simpson said of telling Bronx the big news. “And he wanted to have a sister, so he’s really excited! He’s got a little brother. Now he’s going to have a little sister!”

The little brother Ashlee Simpson speaks of is Pete Wentz's five-month-old son with longtime girlfriend Meagan Camper, Saint Laszlo.

Ashlee Simpson couldn't wait to find out what they were having. Although many parents like to wait until the day their baby is born to find out the sex these days, that is not for her.

“I like to know — I want to do the nursery,” she said.

Some people just can't take the suspense.

This will be the second child for Ashlee Simpson, but will be the first child for Evan Ross.

The two of them got married in August.

Things are moving pretty fast for these two!

Evan Ross told E! after the wedding, "I would like [having kids]."

He added, "As many as possible!"

Looks like Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross have a pretty good start on their brood!

Just how many kids do you think Ashlee Simpson will have before it's all over?
