Apple to switch to Itanium says columnist

IT’S THE MARK OF A GOOD April fools day joke that there might just be a grain of truth in it. So when PC Magazine’s columnist John C. Dvorak says that Itanium will be the next Apple processor, where do you turn? It could all be hokum but then again…

Dvorak goes to some lengths to describe his uber-conspiracy. He points to the fact that top Intel suits have been seen hobnobbing with Steve Jobs. And that Apple has jumped processors before with complete success.
