  • Anna Duggar played an integral role in helping sister-in-law Jessa Duggar Seewald get her labor started, two days after her due date with baby Spurgeon. She explained to Jessa that the method worked when she gave birth to her and Josh Duggar’s third child.

“My sister-in-law Anna told me she walked stairs and that worked with her son Marcus. We walked up and down the stairs together 20 times until I was like, ‘Okay, no more,” Jessa Duggar explains in an interview with People magazine.

While certainly no one can say for sure, Anna Duggar’s method of starting labor might have worked, as Jessa did, in fact, go into labor later that day. Baby Spurgeon Seewald was born on November 5th.

“A couple of hours later, I started having hard contractions,” Jessa says.

This tidbit of information about Anna Duggar confirms she is back in Arkansas with the 19 Kids and Counting family. Might this mean she accepted the bribe father-in-law Jim Bob Duggar offered her–a house if she agreed not to divorce Josh Duggar?

Anna Duggar was pregnant with her fourth child–a daughter named Meredith Grace–when hubby Josh Duggar cheated on her with porn star Danica Dillon. Now that porn star has filed a lawsuit against Anna Duggar’s husband.

What’s your take on Anna Duggar’s method for triggering Jessa Duggar Seewald’s labor? Do you think it’s a tried-and-true method that’s recommended by doctors? Do you suppose perhaps Jessa was close to going into labor anyway, and walking stairs with Anna Duggar simply moved things along?
