Rovio has announced via YouTube video that their hit game Angry Birds has just surpassed a significant milestone: half a billion downloads.

That’s a lot of downloads in less than two years or existence.

When you combine all the Angry Birds games (classic, Rio, Seasons) across all OS’, that’s when you get this staggering figure. According to Rovio, players across the world have played over 200,000 years worth of Angry Birds. Here are some more interesting facts:

Angry Birds Fans around the world have so far played a total of 200,000 years of Angry Birds, with 300 million minutes of playing time daily. Moreover, more than 266 billion levels of Angry Birds have been played, with 400 billion birds launched into action, and over 44 billion Stars collected in the process
