  • Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have taken their large brood of children on many adventures over the years. The latest is yachting. The Jolie-Pitt gang spent a beautiful day yachting on Australia’s Sydney Harbor.

In Australia filming Unbroken, Angelina Jolie hasn’t had the kind of time she’d like to enjoy both her husband and her children, so the yachting excursion was a treat. Brad Pitt has been filming, too. He’s been in Europe working on Fury, his World War II drama.

Pitt spent part of the family’s time on the water taking pictures of his wife and children, as they enjoyed the warm, sunny day. Following their ride, he took the kids paddle boarding, and documented that with photos, too.

This yacht the Jolie-Pitt gang chartered was no ordinary boat. Boasting four staterooms, two lounge rooms, a dining room and two outdoor areas, it also featured a sun-drenched saloon, flat-screen televisions, a retractable sunroof and more. The 87-foot yacht cost Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie–depending on which one picked up the tab–a cool $10,000 for an eight-hour rental.

Angelina Jolie will be in Sydney for a while yet. She moved into a five bedroom mansion on Sydney Harbor where she’ll remain until Unbroken’s filming and post production are finished. It’s uncertain if she, Brad Pitt and their children will spend Christmas there or not.

A Twitter follower marveled at the cost of the rented vessel.

When you’re Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, money is certainly no object. At the very least the couple appears to be centered on their family, and their children are receiving love and guidance in addition to lavish adventures.
