Has many of you may know, Andy Beal left his position at Websourced, Inc. last week, citing a difference of opinion with the company’s direction.

After his resignation post, many speculated that Andy and Websourced might have had a disagreement over management of his blog, SearchEngineLowdown, something that seems to have spoiled Websourced’s relationship with Jason Dowdell.

Many also wondered what Andy was going to be doing next, now that his slate appears to be clean. Because of the mountain of speculation surrounding Andy’s decision, apparently, he thought it would be a good idea to issue an encore post that shed some light on his choice to leave Websourced. The following is a snippet of Andy’s (final?) post:

Second, while I still have a difference of opinion, when it comes to the direction of WebSourced, some of you have drawn your own conclusions about what that means. To clarify, I simply believe that the time is right for me to move on and look for an opportunity that is better aligned with my future goals and aspirations. I could have stayed at WebSourced and taken advantage of opportunities within the company, but after 5 years of non-stop working, it was a good time to take a break and clear my head (which as you know, is full of shi…stuff).

The post continues for a few paragraphs, which discusses what may happen to SELowdown as a property. He also mentions that he isn’t sure where his path will lead him next, to which I can only offer tidings of good luck… Not that he’ll need much of it. :)
