AMEX to Launch Trading Options on Archipelago Holdings

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) will launch trading in options on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 on the Pacific Exchange listed stock of Archipelago Holdings.

Archipelago Holdings will open with strike prices of 10 – 12-1/2 – 15 – 17-1/2 and position limits of 1,350,000 shares. The options will trade on the January expiration cycle with initial expirations in September, October, January and April. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group.

Archipelago Holdings operates the Archipelago Exchange (ArcaEx), an open all-electronic stock exchange in the United States.
