Amanda Seyfried has a part in movie history after playing Karen in the Tina Fey hit Mean Girls, which just recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. The blonde beauty has moved on to more serious roles since the film’s release, but the comedy will always have a place in her heart, as she explained to Jimmy Fallon recently. And she’s not alone.

“I check my retweets sometimes. It’s like getting a ‘like.’ I usually only get like 50-100, which is good, I guess,” she said. “But when I tweeted, ‘On Wednesdays, we wear pink,’ I got like 18,000 retweets. How crazy is that?”

Seyfried played a lovably ditzy high school student in the movie who used her dynamic mammary glands to “predict” the weather, but many may not know that she actually wanted to be a meteorologist when she was younger.

“I didn’t realize you had to be smart. About the time Twister came out with Helen Hunt—my idol—I would dress up in these little khaki shorts and this wife beater and go outside and try to figure out what was happening in the clouds. I had this big weather binder. I was obsessed with the weather…Some kids do drugs. I printed out information about cumulus clouds and anvils and such.”

Mean Girls has enjoyed a cult following since its release in 2004 and is one of the most quotable movies of the decade, as Seyfried proved with her tweet.
