  • After going through a lot of challenges in the past year, Amanda Bynes is now back to fulfilling her passion for fashion. She has enrolled once again at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles.

Last year, TMZ reported that Amanda was kicked out because she came to class while being high on marijuana and asked her classmate to do her work for her. After that incident, she allegedly shoplifted at Barneys in New York City, which prompted her parents to place her on psychiatric hold.

Her alarming behavior probably caused Amanda to keep a low profile, but now it looks like she’s already back on her feet and receiving a lot of love and support from her family and friends.

“We are all so proud of her, and can’t wait to see her amazing designs on the runway someday,” her family’s lawyer, Tamar Arminak said.

Designer and former Project Runway contestant Michael Costello also said that he believes Amanda is now ready to go back to school and pursue her dreams.

“I think right now she just feels like she’s in the right place,” said Costello. “If not now, when? She never said she wants to take another year off or anything. She’s always been really cool about wanting to go back to school and meeting new people and all of that.” Costello also said that Amanda has a great sense of style and that she loves to design for the jetsetter and the everyday girl like her.

“She knows what she’s doing when she’s sketching,” explained Costello. “It’s nice that she has a true passion for it and it’s not like a hobby.”

Recently, her attorney, David Esquibias, assured everyone that Amanda is doing great. Amanda also tweeted that she was still seeing doctors weekly and taking medication after she was released.

“She appreciates all of the love and support she receives from family, friends, and fans,” Esquibias said.
